This was a crazy group of students having a great time. I had more volunteers then I knew what to do with. Some of them were more comfortable on the floor then in their chairs. At one point we had fish flopping all over the floor. We had Vegas night on stage with poker chips rolling all over the place. They really liked the carnival rides for the most part. The mouse exterminator was exterminating mice two at a time. We had two lifeguards on this beach. The martian and the interpreter were definitely a hit with this group. You can see by their photo page that they enjoyed Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory quite a bit, not to mention the chocolate river. I’m glad Amanda(the oompa loompa) took a great picture of them in action.

Oh yes the one-man-show was on at the Holiday Inn in Kearney. Tom Ronsick did a fabulous job under the lights. He caught two fish on one hook! He had a pet Jack Russell dog that he just couldn’t put down. His horse won at the horse races and he won big time. He got Cher’s autograph and Tom saw this girl with really long legs through these special glasses. He finished the night tasting some of the best chocolate he had ever tasted. Obviously he won the best volunteer for the night. I must add though, the audience was a great bunch of people. I’m glad I had the opportunity to work with them.

Seward Post Prom Party

Every year this group just gets down and wild. It’s all I can do to keep things under control, but it is definitely a blast working with them. There’s never a dull moment. I thought we were going to have a riot when they had a change of opinion on the mice. The two top volunteers for the night were Taylor Majerus and Maggie Stryson. Taylor was the top mouse exterminator so far with his dual purpose weapon mouse smacker and flame thrower. Maggie was just everywhere all night long. She was almost never in her chair. She was either on the floor or hopping around the stage. The marry-go-round horses were moving in an unusual fashion at this prom party. Annie Kamprath thought I was really Willy Wonka. The rides went off without a hitch as soon as some people decided whether they wanted to be on the ride or not. Maggie got frustrated when everyone was laughing on the beach during her watch as lifeguard. This was a very energetic group that entertained the audience with every move they made. The duo of Ryan Coufal and Taylor Majerus as the martians was hard to beat. Finally, you must see Seward’s photo page. J.T. Cattle took some awesome pictures throughout the entire show.

The fun started this last weekend at the Benkelman post prom party! The volunteers were grand. I have never seen so much flipping and flopping on the floor in my life. Ben Anderson and Marissa Castillo were chosen the top volunteers for the night, but the decision was not an easy one. Be sure to check out their photo page at www.thehypnomike.com to see all the fun captured on photos. There were great animals at the circus even a turtle, that’s a first. The rides were a little frightening for some, but they got a little more comfortable as the show continued. Marissa sure went into and out of hypnosis very quickly and I think she spent 1/2 of her time on the floor. Marissa I hope your voice is better today! She was a fantastic lifeguard and can she bark out orders. They did a great job watching the high speed ping pong ball…all the way till lights out. I know they all enjoyed the fireworks. I really enjoyed this group of hypno first timers. I hope to see you guys again! A special thanks goes out to Shelby Woods who took over 120 photos of the show.

A great time was had by all at Malcolm’s post prom party at the YMCA! If you look at the group sitting in their chairs the first two on the left end were chosen the most exciting volunteers of the night. They were both keyed in on those cute little mice, at least for a while. She made a great lifeguard. It was energy packed all the way through. The high wire was a challenge for some, but they all liked the roller coaster! This group really got into the oompa loompas as depicted in the last and largest picture of the Malcolm photo gallery.

WOW! what a great group of volunteers. This is a smaller group, but they definitely make up for it in excitement. They had a 50’s theme with attention to detail, from old time toiletries in the restrooms to a working photo booth. The volunteers went deep into hypnosis and really made the night fun. They really liked the fireworks and they could drive the bumper cars like no one else. The girls wanted to ride the the roller coaster again. Jarred was very good and kept everyone in stitches. A special thanks goes out to picture taker for the evening. She took over 150 photos with my camera and I included them on the DVD of the show. If anyone can email me her name and address I would like to send her a thank you!

A wild night at Skills USA Nebraska

On Friday March 27th The Skills USA group let their hair down after a stressful few days of competition. A huge group came up on stage for an action packed show. They had a great time on the fair rides. Jessica was a great lifeguard. Ryan was worried that the fireworks were going to burn the place down. A group of 3 girls captured the fireworks on their cell phone cameras, but were very frustrated when no one else could see the fireworks in their pictures. A few advisers voted Ryan and Jessica as the most talented performers of the evening. Thanks to all of the attendees and I hope the rest of the year goes Well for you! Sorry the photos turned out blurry, I bumped the camera setting to portrait and didn’t realize it.

On early Sunday morning on March 22nd, I had the opportunity to join this school in their post prom festivities.  Their prom games were very entertaining and a hard act to follow. Eight students remained on stage for a fun packed show. The life guard definitely did her job well and so did the mouse exterminator. All of the volunteers were wonderful and did an awesome job! Many thanks to Tori for taking those photographs, great job! They had a great day at the amusement park and so did I! A BIG Thanks to Michelle and the other parents for all of the hard work. Make sure you check out their pictures on the media page at www.thehypnomike.com.
